Year 4
Year 4 builds on the wider primary curriculum and helps students think more deeply. Children begin working with more varied texts, stronger written tasks, larger numbers, new science concepts and broader humanities study.
Level-based learning
For Qur'an and Arabic, students are placed according to their level rather than simply their age or year group.
This allows children to learn at the right pace and receive more suitable support. All academic subjects are built around the English National Curriculum, while Crescent Pathways carefully considers how content is taught within an Islamic framework.
This year is important because students are no longer just building basic foundations; they are learning to explain, compare, summarise, reason and apply knowledge more confidently.
