Islamic identity at our core
Islamic Studies, Qur'an, and Arabic woven seamlessly into the school week. No more exhausting weekend classes or compromising your family's values.
Protecting their identity shouldn't mean sacrificing their free time.
Many Muslim families rely on weekend or evening classes to teach their children about Islam. But after a long week at a mainstream school, children are often too tired to engage, making Islamic learning feel like a chore rather than a joy.
At Crescent Pathways, Islamic learning is built into the school day.
The Three Pillars of our Islamic Curriculum
Structured, engaging, and taught by experienced teachers who understand how to connect with young minds.
Islamic Studies
A comprehensive journey through Aqeedah (belief), Fiqh (rulings), Seerah (prophetic biography), and Akhlaq (character). We don't just teach facts; we teach children how to apply Islamic principles to their modern, daily lives.
- Age-appropriate discussions
- Focus on character building
- Connecting faith to real-world challenges
Qur'an & Tajweed
Structured progression in recitation, proper pronunciation (Tajweed), and memorisation (Hifz). Students are placed based on ability, ensuring they are neither overwhelmed nor under-challenged.
Arabic Language
Building vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension to connect deeply with the words of Allah.
Tarbiyah
Values are not just taught; they are modeled by our teachers and reinforced throughout the school day.
The Islamic department is in the right hands.
For Muslim families, the credibility of the Islamic side of a school is not a secondary concern. It is often the primary one.
Shaykh Abdulilah Lahmami
Director, Islamic Department
Born in London, lived 24 years in Saudi Arabia, and studied under some of the major scholars of our era. Shaykh Abdulilah Lahmami holds a PhD on the importance of Tafsir in the translation of the Noble Qur'an and oversees Islamic Studies, Qur'an, and Arabic at Crescent Pathways.
The methodology is grounded in Qur'an and Sunnah, upon the understanding of the righteous predecessors — the same foundation parents would expect from an Islamic institution upon the correct methodology.
"We do not believe children should be left exposed without guidance, nor raised without awareness. Our aim is to give them the knowledge, confidence and Islamic grounding to understand the world with clarity."
All Islamic teachers:
Teaching upon the Qur'an and Sunnah with positive role models in character and conduct
Placed by ability, not just age.
Children come to us at different stages in their Islamic journey. A Year 7 student might be a beginner in Arabic, while a Year 4 student might already be reciting fluently.
For Qur'an and Arabic, students are assessed and placed into groups that match their actual level — so they build confidence steadily without feeling left behind or held back.
Small ability groups
Teachers can listen to individual recitation and give specific, targeted feedback — not just general classroom instruction.

"My son is enjoying his classes more and the classes are all very engaging... I am noticing a lot of improvements across various subjects, especially Quran and Arabic. Moreover, it was important for me that my son gets an opportunity to combine general classes along with Islamic studies - this school delivers both to a high quality Alhamdulilah."

Questions every thoughtful parent asks before choosing online school
Choosing your child's school is not a small decision. It is natural to have questions about structure, social life, screen time, academic quality, Islamic values and whether your child will truly feel supported.
