Year 3
Year 3 is where the curriculum begins to broaden. Alongside the core academic and Islamic subjects, students are introduced to more distinct subject areas such as Humanities, Computing, Art and Fitness Club.
Level-based learning
For Qur'an and Arabic, students are placed according to their level rather than simply their age or year group.
This allows children to learn at the right pace and receive more suitable support. All academic subjects are built around the English National Curriculum, while Crescent Pathways carefully considers how content is taught within an Islamic framework.
This gives students a richer learning experience while helping them develop curiosity, creativity, physical activity, early research skills and a stronger understanding of the world around them.
