What we study

Subjects

  • Students focus on learning the correct Islamic belief, acts of worship, the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), morals, and values, and are introduced to Islamic history, with the program being overseen by Dr. Abdulilah Lahmami.

  • Students are placed in a class according to their level, with the program overseen by Dr. Abdulilah Lahmami. Students focus on correct recitation of the Qur’aan, along with memorisation and some exegetical commentary.

  • Students are placed in a class according to their level, with the program overseen by Dr. Abdulilah Lahmami. Students study a comprehensive Arabic course created by Markaz Nur al-Huda.

  • Students engage with a variety of texts, making inferences, summarizing key information, and writing in different formats and genres.

  • Students build fluency with numbers up to 10,000, using efficient written calculation methods and developing mathematical reasoning skills.

  • Students explore areas like electricity, sound, living things and their habitats, animals including humans, and states of matter.

  • Students learn about ancient civilizations like the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans, recognizing their influence on modern society.

  • Students extend their locational knowledge and map skills to Europe and North/South America, comparing key geographical features.

  • Students design, write, and debug programs using variables, events, loops, functions, and logic to create games and animations.

  • Students refine techniques in drawing, painting, sculpting, and collage, analyzing and evaluating creative works using artistic language.

  • Students refine athletic abilities and cooperative skills through digital lessons and challenges in areas like cardio, stretching, and active gaming they can do at home, learning techniques, gameplay strategies, and sportsmanship.

*For Qur’aan and Arabic, students are placed according to their levels and not their age groups.
